How do fat dissolving injections work?

Fat-dissolving injections are a non-surgical treatment that eliminates fat cells in the skin. It’s main ingredient is “deoxycholic acid”. This acid exists naturally in our bodies to help break down the fat. Once it’s destroyed, fat can no longer be stored or accumulated at the injection site, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired goals.

Unlike surgical procedures, fat-dissolving injections require only minimal downtime before you can resume normal activities. Most people experience swelling and puffiness for up to 7-10 days following their first session, but these side effects decrease with following sessions.

What you need to know.

    1. Avoid the consumption of alcohol 24 hrs before treatment.

    2. Avoid the consumption of blood-thinning medications such as Ibuprofen, aspirin, OMEGA-3, Vitamin E, etc. 72 hrs prior to treatment.

    3. Avoid smoking at least 24hrs prior to your treatment.

    4. Please advise us if you are currently taking or have finished any antibiotics within the last 4 weeks.

    1. Arrive 5 - 10 min before your appointment.
